About C3 Childcare Group
C3 Childcare Group is a childcare centre in Croydon, Sydney. It is located on the land of the Wangal people of the Eora Nation. We provide day care that encourages learning through play as well as a rigorous School Readiness Program.
Our learning programs cover all areas of the Early Years Learning Framework. The School Readiness Program focuses on a mindful approach to pre-reading and pre-writing, literacy, numeracy, STEM, art, music and drama.
Kindergarten is a critical time in a child’s development. Here, children are encouraged to explore and are challenged to learn.
Our Director and Educators are all experienced Early Childhood and Infants Primary Personnel who program each day for the specific needs of the children. Educators encourage our children to participate in a wide range of activities that enhance their sense of self within the context of their learning environment.
We aim to develop your child to be able to think, create and cooperate so they can improve their social relationship, resolve conflicts and prepare for school. We welcome all families from Croydon, Five Dock, Burwood, Ashfield and other suburbs to tour our centre.
Hours of operation
Our centre operates from 7.30am – 6.00pm, Monday-Friday, exclusive of Public Holidays.
We are open 50 weeks of the year.
Our centres close for the Christmas to New Year period each year.
We like our children to arrive no later than 9.30am each day for them to settle and enjoy group time.
We are a family-oriented day care centre
Families are encouraged to share any special talents which they may have. We also encourage parents to bring things of interest to the centre.
We encourage families to speak to teachers about their child. This promotes development in staff/family relationships.
We encourage all our parents to:
- Spend time with your child of an afternoon
- Keep up-to-date with centre activities published through our platforms of communication
- Attend parent social evenings
- Join in fundraising events
- Accompany us on excursions
- Contribute towards art/craft supplies eg. tissue boxes, egg cartons, milk cartons, paper etc.
- Ask staff members if there is anything you can do to help
We want YOU to feel that our centre is yours to contribute to.
